Bobbi Kelley
Mindful Education in Schools Instructor
Bobbi is a former teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. When she retired in June 2019 after 34 years of teaching, she decided to pursue a long-term goal of becoming certified to teach yoga to children. Bobbi completed her 95 hour Challenge To Change, Inc. Toddler, Kids and Teen Yoga Teacher Training in April 2020. Realizing the benefit yoga had been for her over this journey, Bobbi decided to continue on and pursue her 200 YTT through B1 Yoga and Challenge To Change and completed her 200 YTT certification in November 2020.
Bobbi is excited for the opportunities that yoga is bringing into her life, including working for Challenge to Change in her local schools. She teaches an adult yoga class once a week for a small group at her church and she also teaches yoga classes at a local studio in DeWitt. Yoga has gotten her through a difficult year personally and she looks forward to being able to help others, especially children, learn how yoga can help bring calm, peace, and love in one’s life.
Bobbi enjoys being with her family. She lives in DeWitt, Iowa with her husband, Steve, and is blessed to have her two sons living within driving distance here in Eastern Iowa. She wants to travel more now that she has a more flexible schedule and enjoys her coffee in the mornings with no pressure to always have to run out the door to work!
