Today was like any other amazing work day at Challenge To Change. I tend to receive anecdotal notes from teachers and parents on a weekly basis explaining how yoga and mindfulness have not only changed their child’s life, but their family’s life.
However, the following message was quite special to me because if came from a teacher leader in one of our pilot program schools. This teacher leader works with all students and all teachers in the building. Not only is she one of my favorite people, but she has a strong pulse on the climate and culture of her building. She has watched the practice evolve over this school year and has shared how powerful it is for the students to understand how to self regulate and to practice mindfulness in their minds, hearts and bodies.
